The Electroid Dream

I have no idea what’s an electroid or what it does but it sounds scifi-ish… maybe also 80ish? (hmmm, electric dreams–human league ?!)

It sounds like an electrical conduit I searched the net and actually found an electroid.

It an electronic kit with parts to make electronic devices (Assembly required!.)

They’re shown in Altoid cans (no relations to altoids co) one is a usb charger suitable for ipods and another, a led flashlight.

The kits don’t come with the altoid cans, you need to buy altoids…

That didn’t stop people from buying electroid kits and altoids.

Electroids is the dream & creation of Aaron Dunlap who wanted to make his own electronic hobby kit. Thinking of selling the home made kit, Aaron created an online store. The site was getting attention even getting into popular mechanics. Demand for Electroids rose! and still rising.

Netscape the popular browser that started the net revolution will end Feb 1, 2008.

AOL decided to stop development discontinuing further versions. It will still maintain the portal netscape.com. users can still download past versions.

If your using Firefox well, thats netscape code that was made open source for the world.

Some may say mosaic was first, well anyway people were using netscape a lot it was more popular.
