The Wachowski brothers new project, “Speed Racer” hits the screen this May, their first major collaboration since “The Matrix” Trilogy and “V For Vendetta”.

The movie is based on the immortal anime series created by Tatsuo Yoshida originally titled “Mach Go Go Go” later renamed for the english language market as “Speed Racer”.

The story follows Speed as he wins race after race, fulfilling a legacy left by the death of his brother Rex in an earlier competition. With the help of Mom and Pops Racer and a cast of characters, Speed thwarts the ambition of his rival, Royalton to dominate the racing scene.

This live action feature is a must see for Anime and Speed Racer Fans. Its sure to be a fun movie to watch with all the action and special effects thrown in, Wachowski style. Who wouldn’t watch the Mach 5 racing down the circuit?
