Stan Winston, Multi - Oscar Awardee for special and makeup effects passed away from a seven year bout with multiple myeloma. Winston, creature maker extraordinaire, was famous for his T-rex from Jurassic Park, the Alien Queen from Aliens, most of all the Exo-Skeleton Terminator from the Terminator films. Winston has done a universe of creature effects most recent, the Iron Man armored suit.
Stan Winston will be missed, he is survived by his wife, Karen, two children and grandchildren.
The entertainment industry has lost a genius and I lost one of my best friends, Stan’s work and four Oscars speak for themselves and will live on forever.
